Ventilated Container
Customer Branding

Most containers at trade events and exhibitions look like site equipment. This one looked like part of the stand. A 20ft dry container shot-blasted to bare steel, repainted in the client's corporate colour, and wrapped in 3M vinyl brand graphics on three visible sides.

Four steel louvre ventilation openings keep air moving through the interior without running power. Built at our SICD yard in Sharjah and delivered to Expo Centre Sharjah on Al Taawun Street in Al Khan for a product brand's exhibition activation.

Shot-Blasted to Bare Steel

A Container That Carries Your Brand

Not Just Your Stock

Exhibition organisers and brand activation teams across the UAE spend significant budgets on booth design and display materials. The storage container sitting behind or beside the stand often undoes that work, it looks like a site unit, not a brand asset.

This project changed that. The client was exhibiting at Expo Centre Sharjah, located on Al Taawun Street in Al Khan, one of the UAE's most active trade fair venues with events running year-round from SteelFab to the Sharjah International Book Fair. They needed storage for display materials on site and wanted the container to look like part of their exhibition stand, not a piece of borrowed site equipment.

We took a structurally sound used 20ft container, shot-blasted it back to bare steel at our Sharjah yard, applied a full paint system in the client's corporate RAL colour, and fitted 3M vinyl brand wrap panels on three visible sides. The unit arrived at the Expo Centre looking like it had been built for the exhibition.

Shot-Blasted to Bare Steel Proper Paint Prep

We shot-blasted the entire container exterior back to bare steel before any paint went on. Shot blasting removes all old paint, surface rust, mill scale, and contamination, the preparation that makes a topcoat last. Containers painted over existing coats bubble and peel within months in UAE outdoor conditions. A shot-blasted substrate holds paint for years. Two coats of epoxy primer go on after blasting, followed by two coats of polyurethane topcoat in the client's corporate RAL colour matched to within 95% of their brand standard.

3M Vinyl Brand Wrap
UV Laminated, Three Sides

The client's logo, tagline, and product photography were printed on 3M vinyl wrap panels with UV-resistant laminate over the top. The laminate stops colours fading in UAE direct sunlight, a container sitting outdoors at Expo Centre Sharjah or at Gitex Global at Dubai World Trade Centre faces intense UV exposure for eight to ten hours a day. The wrap applied over the painted surface on three visible sides of the container. The fourth side faces the wall or service access, it stays plain painted.

Steel Louvre Ventilation
No Power Needed

Four 200mm x 200mm powder-coated steel louvre openings cut into the side panels, two high and two low on the same wall. Air enters through the lower louvres and exits through the upper louvres by natural convection. That airflow prevents heat and moisture build-up inside the container without any electrical connection. UAE summer temperatures inside an unventilated sealed container can reach 70°C, a ventilated container keeps display materials, stock, and branded items safe from heat damage.

Who Orders a Branded Container in the UAE

Three types of clients in the UAE order ventilated branded containers. All three need a container that works as a brand asset, not just a storage box, at an outdoor or semi-permanent location.

Outdoor Retail Brands
Kite Beach, La Mer

Seasonal retail brands and product activation companies at Kite Beach in Jumeirah, La Mer on Jumeirah Beach Road, and Bluewaters Island near the Dubai Eye use branded ventilated containers as outdoor pop-up retail points and branded storage. The louvre ventilation keeps the interior below 40°C even in July and August,  safe for product storage without air conditioning. The container moves to the next activation location on a flatbed truck when the season ends.

Exhibition Brands Expo Centre Sharjah and DWTC Dubai

Product brands and corporate exhibitors at Expo Centre Sharjah on Al Taawun Street and at Gitex Global, Arab Health, and The Big 5 at Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road use branded containers as storage and display units on their exhibition stands. The container stores collateral, product samples, and equipment during the event and doubles as a branded visual backdrop that does not require a separate build budget.

Product Launch Teams
Expo City Dubai and ADNEC

Corporate product launch teams and event activation companies operating at major UAE business expos including Gulfood and The Big 5 at Expo City Dubai in Dubai South and ADNEC on Khaleej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi use branded containers for product display and demonstration staging. The container arrives on site two days before the event, gets positioned, and the brand team loads it the day before opening. At event close, it trucks back to our depot in Sharjah for storage until the next activation.
