10ft Offshore
Container

Offshore platforms in the Arabian Gulf allocate deck space in tight sections. A standard 20ft container takes more space than most restricted deck areas allow. This 10ft offshore container fits where a 20ft will not.

Built from 4mm welded steel, hot-dip galvanised, and DNV 2.7-1 certified for crane lifts, it holds tools, PPE, and equipment on platform decks from the Lower Zakum field to offshore facilities near Umm Al Dalkh. We build, certify, and deliver road-ready to Mina Zayed Port, Hamriyah Port, or Port of Fujairah.

A 10ft Offshore Container That Fits
Where a 20ft Cannot

Drilling contractors, well service companies, and offshore marine operators in the Abu Dhabi offshore zone face the same deck space problem on every project. Standard 20ft containers block walkways and equipment access when placed on restricted platform deck sections. The 10ft unit solves that problem without sacrificing structural strength or certification.

This batch delivered to a drilling contractor operating in the Lower Zakum field, coordinated through the marshalling yard at Mina Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi. Each unit was built at our SICD fabrication yard in Sharjah, load-tested, certified, and delivered to the port yard within the contractor's pre-mobilisation schedule.

Every unit cleared the ADNOC pre-site inspection without corrective action. The contractor loaded all units onto supply vessels the same day they arrived at the marshalling yard.

DNV 2.7-1 Certified Lift Lugs ADNOC Accepted

Four top-corner lifting lugs are welded, load-tested, and certified to DNV 2.7-1 standard. The safe working load is stamped on each lug. ADNOC requires DNV lift certification on every container before it goes near a crane or vessel deck. We issue the full lift certificate pack, including the third-party inspection report, before the unit leaves our Sharjah yard.

Hot-Dip Galvanised
Gulf Salt Air Resistant

The container is built from 4mm welded steel plate and fully hot-dip galvanised after fabrication. Galvanising fuses zinc into the steel surface, it does not peel like paint. Offshore containers in the Arabian Gulf face constant salt spray, high humidity, and direct sun. Painted containers corrode through in under 18 months. A galvanised unit lasts the full project lifecycle without recoating.

ISO Corner Castings  Deck-Lock Compatible

The corner castings are ISO-standard on all four base corners. That means the container locks into standard deck twist-lock fittings on supply vessels and platform decks without any modification or adapter plate. Vessel operators at Hamriyah Port Free Zone and Port of Fujairah load these units directly onto supply boats without any special rigging arrangement.

Who Orders 10ft Offshore Containers
in the UAE

Three operator types in the UAE order 10ft offshore containers in volume. All three work on sites where deck space is restricted and ADNOC certification is non-negotiable.

Drilling Contractors
Lower Zakum and Umm Shaif Fields

Drilling contractors mobilising rigs for ZADCO and ADMA-OPCO projects in the Lower Zakum and Umm Shaif offshore fields use 10ft containers for tool and PPE storage on restricted rig deck sections. The units stage at Mina Zayed Port marshalling yard before vessel loading. Our documentation pack DNV cert, ADNOC report, CSC plate, goes with every unit so gate clearance at the port is same-day.

Marine Service Companies  Hamriyah and Fujairah Ports

Vessel support and marine service companies operating from Hamriyah Port Free Zone in Sharjah and the Port of Fujairah use 10ft offshore containers for equipment staging on supply vessels. The compact footprint fits on smaller supply boats that cannot take a standard 20ft unit on deck. ISO corner castings lock directly into vessel deck fittings without any additional rigging hardware.

Well Service Companies  Offshore Abu Dhabi Operations

Well service and intervention companies running operations on ADNOC Offshore platforms near Das Island and Zirku Island use 10ft containers for chemical and consumable storage in restricted deck areas near wellheads. The salt-resistant epoxy interior paint and sealed door system keep contents protected in classified offshore zones where standard storage options are not permitted.
